Our wines shine with silver medals from WineGB
We have recently been awarded silver medals for two of our wines from the prestigious WineGB. Our 2022 Penn Croft Village Bacchus and 2021 Pinot Blanc have been recognised for their exceptional quality, showcasing our dedication to producing wines of great character and flavour. Let's take a closer look at our award-winning wines and what makes them so special.
2022 Penn Croft Village Bacchus
With its pale colour and intense aromas of grapefruit zest, nectarine stone, and pear skin, our Bacchus is truly beautiful. The 2022 harvest has produced a classically crisp wine that embodies the essence of our winemaking. Whether enjoyed as an alluring aperitif or paired with fresh shellfish, our silver medal-winning wine is sure to delight the senses.
2021 Penn Croft Pinot Blanc
Our commitment to quality shines through with our use of malolactic fermentation and periodic lees stirring. These techniques soften the wine's acidity while elevating its flavours, resulting in a pure and focused wine that tantalises the taste buds with notes of minerality, savoury spice, and warm honey. Despite the cooler vintage, the palate offers a pleasant balance of texture and complexity, with a delightfully driven finish.
We’re so pleased to be bringing you these award-winning wines in the coming months. Cheers to these two and to our fantastic winemakers!
